April Month of the Poem:
A Poem of Reason, Evangelical + Wanderer
Knowledge,
illumination and an age of Reason
Ready against
the church to commit treason
And ready for
the state to march in legion.
But then by the
book became Evangelical
The Book its
mark left upon me indelible
And by it for heaven
I was made eligible.
But wanderer
with questions in me sown
Wondering in
doubts that have grown
To know – NO –
ah but to be known
Written by a panhandling
philosopher
Dan McDonald
